SRG Global has secured seven contracts with multiple Tier 1 clients for its asset services segment, including with Rio Tinto, Roy Hill and in the Western Australian goldfields.

The total value of the contracts is $110 million and will see SRG work with iron ore, nickel, cobalt and alumina.

“I am very pleased that our Asset Services segment continues to deliver step-change growth in diverse sectors and geographies with blue chip clients,” SRG Global managing director David Macgeorge said.

“It is a testament to the strong relationships we have built on the back of continued delivery and our focus on innovation, technology and data analytics as market differentiators.”

The new works include 3 three-year contracts, 2 one-year extensions of existing contracts and two 18-month contracts.

In Western Australia, a three-year contract has been secured with Roy Hill to provide shutdown maintenance services at its iron ore operations in the Pilbara.

SRG also won a three-year contract at major nickel and cobalt operations in the Western Australian Goldfields to provide ad hoc maintenance support.

In Queensland, Rio Tinto awarded SRG with two 18-month contracts at its QAL alumina refinery for the provision of shutdown scaffolding services, and at its Yarwun alumina refinery for the provision of access and refractory services.

“These recent term contract wins provide further evidence of the continued execution of SRG Global’s growth strategy highlighted by an earnings profile of two-thirds annuity earnings and one-third project-based, which positions us well for long term sustainable growth,” Macgeorge said.

Additional contracts making up the $110 million were in the oil, gas, energy and dairy sectors.

These included a three-year contract with Fonterra in New Zealand to provide specialist engineered access services for its dairy operations.

Transpower NZ has extended its three-year contract by one year to provide specialist industrial services including tower structure maintenance and specialist coating services.

Refining NZ at Marsden Point oil refinery has also extended its contract by one year to provide industrial blasting and specialist coating services.

SRG Global is an engineering-led global specialist asset services, mining services and construction group operating across the entire asset lifecycle of engineer, construct and sustain.
