Barry W Fitzgerald

Chief Executive Officer
Barry has worked for Hancock Prospecting on the Roy Hill Project since June 2010 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Roy Hill Holdings Pty Ltd in May 2012.
Prior to joining Hancock Prospecting, Barry was CEO of CITIC Pacific Mining and held senior management positions with BHP Iron Ore, BHP Engineering, Henry Walker Eltin, Simon Engineering and Roche Process Engineering.
Barry has a broad range of operational and construction project experience in the construction, engineering and maintenance sectors.

Chief Operating Officer
Gerhard joined Roy Hill Pty Ltd as Chief Operating Officer in August 2019. Gerhard has extensive mining industry experience spanning various commodities and operations in Australia and South Africa, including several years in iron ore.
Gerhard has previously held senior management positions at Fortescue Metals Group, BHP and BIS Industries.
Chief Financial Officer
Greg joined Roy Hill in August 2016 and has over 30 years of financial and operational experience in the resources sector in Australia, United Kingdom, Papua New Guinea and Eastern Africa.
Previously, Greg was the Executive Director, Finance for Emeco Group and prior to that was President and CEO of African Barrick Gold plc., listed on the main board of the London Stock Exchange. Greg has also held senior management positions with Barrick Gold Corporation.

Giles joined Roy Hill Holdings Pty Ltd in October 2014 with over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources across different industries including mining, financial services and pharmaceuticals in both the UK and Australia.
Giles has experience in operational readiness, major organisational transformation, organisational effectiveness and organisational development across these industries.
Giles has previously held senior management positions at Rio Tinto and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.

Dean joined Roy Hill in March 2017 and has 33 years’ experience in the resource sector working across coal, gold, nickel and iron ore within several blue-chip companies.
In addition to extensive operational experience, Dean has managed large-scale integrated operating centres and earth science teams.
Prior to Roy Hill, Dean has held senior management positions with BHP and Newcrest.

Chris Eriksen has over 25 years’ experience in technology and improvement across many industries including mining, finance and electricity. With a focus on strategic development, project implementation and leading teams and supplier operations of all sizes, Chris has a proven record of delivering measurable results that prioritise people development, long-term safety and productivity improvements.
Currently General Manager Innovation and Technology, Chris is leading Roy Hill’s Automated Haulage project which will deliver significant safety improvements while ensuring the automation journey is inclusive and transparent for all employees.

Project Director and General Manager Engineering Services
Paul joined the Roy Hill Project in November 2013 and was appointed Project Director for Roy Hill Holdings Pty Ltd in 2016 with the role extended to include General Manager Engineering Services in 2019.
Prior to joining Roy Hill, Paul held several national and international Director roles in various construction and project management companies including WSP and Turner and Townsend.
Paul has over 30 years’ major project and program delivery experience across the UK, Europe and Australia, spanning a number of sectors including natural resources, infrastructure and power.
