Sculpture by the sea launches

Sculpture By The Sea has returned to Cottesloe with over 70 artists from 14 countries showcasing their work, and it was marked by an official launch for the artists.
A highlight this year is ‘ English artist Sean Henry’s sculpture Seated Man, exhibiting in WA for the first time.
Perth artist Johannes Pannekoek was announced as the recipient of the $30,000 Hancock Prospecting and Roy Hill sculpture award for his artwork Lifeblood.
The sculpture wa draws inspiration from the Earth’s winding rivers and serpentine shapes, encouraging people to reflect on the protection of the lifeblood of our planet’s ecosystems.
