Roy Hill Donates World Class Racing Hull to Support Womens Rowing
After taking part in Rowing WA’s Corporate Cup regatta last year, where our crews were taught how to row under the expert eyes of SRRC coaches, Roy Hill donated the world class racing hull to support the Club’s women’s program.
The boat was christened Gina Rinehart AO as an acknowledgement of our Executive Chairman’s passionate support of the sport and painted pink to recognise her long-term commitment to breast cancer research and patient support.
Mrs Rinehart is Rowing Australia’s Patron and Hancock Prospecting, Roy Hill’s parent company, is a major sponsor of Rowing Australia and an Australian Olympic Partner.
As we look forward to the upcoming #Paris2024 Olympics, we’re proud to be supporting the next generation of rowers.
