Chief Executive Officer
Barry has been working for Hancock Prospecting on the Roy Hill Project since June 2010 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Roy Hill Holdings Pty Ltd in May 2012. Prior to joining Hancock Prospecting Barry was CEO of CITIC Pacific Mining and held senior management positions with BHP Iron Ore, BHP Engineering, Henry Walker Eltin, Simon Engineering and Roche Process Engineering.
He has a broad range of operational and construction project experience in the construction, engineering and maintenance sectors.

Head of Operations
Geoff was appointed as Acting Head of Operations for Roy Hill in May 2018, after serving as Head of Mining for more than a year. Prior to joining Roy Hill Geoff was General Manager Operations and Planning for Karara Mining, VP/Project Director for Crosslands Resources and Mine Manager for Newmont Mining Corporation’s Boddington operations.
Geoff has more than 25 Years of Operational and Technical experience working in mining, covering all key business areas including project studies and startups, exploration, contract/owner mining, open pit and underground operations, mineral processing, road haulage, port operations and marketing.
Senior Legal Counsel & Head of External Affairs
Julian joined Roy Hill in mid 2012. He has more than 20 years’ experience as a partner and lawyer in major Australian and English law firms including Cameron McKenna and Minter Ellison, and has worked heavily on procurement and construction contracts and structuring for major projects. He has also led teams on major disputes in Australia and Asia.
General Manager People, Health & Safety
Giles joined Roy Hill Holdings Pty Ltd in October 2014. He has over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources across different sectors including mining, financial services and pharmaceuticals in both the UK and Australia. Giles has operating experience in mining operations, operational readiness and major organisational transition in mining environments. He also has a strong background in organisational effectiveness and organisational development which has been applied in mining, global pharmaceuticals and financial services.
Giles has held senior management positions at Rio Tinto, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and Crute Consulting.
General Manager Technology
Rebbecca joined Roy Hill in November 2013, prior to her current role she was a member of the Technology leadership team building and developing the Roy Hill business to deliver the Technology program of work to meet Roy Hill’s first shipment of iron ore in December 2015. She was appointed to the role of General Manager Technology in January 2016.
Rebbecca has worked with start-ups, mid-tier consulting organisations and large Australian businesses including Wesfarmers Agricultural division, AMP and now Roy Hill. She has considerable operational experience and has held Senior Management and Program Management roles including being accountable for the merger and integration of the AMP/AXA Technology shared services operations in 2010.

General Manager Improvement & Smart Business
Chris commenced with Roy Hill during construction phase in 2011 as General Manager of Technology. She worked with teams to provide technology solutions across corporate and operational systems, leading up to Roy Hill’s first shipment of iron ore in 2015. She returned to Roy Hill in 2017 to lead Business Improvement and Smart Mine initiatives, including the automation of operational equipment.
Chris has over twenty years of experience in technology, across the mining, energy and finance industries. She has led small and large technology teams and implemented a number of transformation programs. Chris leverages her diversity of industry experience and networks to optimise operations and future proof the business.
