In 2018 the Roy Hill Community Foundation began a partnership with West Australian Ballet.

This partnership gives young people in the Pilbara the opportunity to learn from experienced ballet teachers.

The last regional access tour had 1400 participates from a variety of schools in the Pilbara.

In April 2021 West Australian Ballet began their season with a regional show at the Port Hedland Civic Centre gardens.

Some of the participants of the regional access tour had the opportunity to choreograph and perform the opening performance.

Supporting West Australian Ballet gives the Roy Hill Community Foundation an allocation of opening night tickets.

Three Roy Hill employees Anna, Belinda and Rachel were invited to the opening night of Giselle and thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Anna commented that following her journey with cancer she is grateful to enjoy “beautiful experiences like tonight”.
