Exciting News – 2GR Wagyu’s Gold Medal!
We are thrilled to announce that on 11 November 2024, Hancock Agriculture’s 2GR Wagyu won a Gold Medal at the World Steak Challenge, London, UK, 2024!
This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to quality and excellence in producing such fine beef.
A huge thank you to our outstanding farm and feedlot managers and staff for your dedication to the care of our 2GR cattle, day after day, year after year. Your dedication and efforts have achieved the judgement for a Gold Medal, and made us all at Hancock Agriculture very proud!

About the World Steak Challenge
The World Steak Challenge awards took place at Smith & Wollensky restaurant, a high end restaurant in London on Monday 11 November 2024, judging and celebrating the finest steaks from around the globe.
The awards evening brought together steak producers, international media, restaurateurs, retail buyers, food service wholesalers, chefs, food bloggers, embassies, breed societies, and prominent influencers.
From the organizers: “Launched in 2015 to deliver a recognised stamp of quality to support world-class steak production on a global platform, we give steak producers from across the world a unique opportunity to benchmark product quality, breed credentials and processing standards on the international stage.
